claim, quote, commentary

Claim: When John goes on his journey to New York he realizes that the gods a really just regular humans.

Quote: "That is all of my story, for then I knew he was a man-I knew then that they had been men, neither gods nor demons."

Commentary: He realized the gods were just regular people and that was the great knowledge. They only sent people out one at a time and only certain people to go to the place of the gods because they did not want everyone to find out so their civilization would not die out like the gods did.

Show vs. Tell

The room was a mess.

The room, covered with dirty clothes, was like a battle field. There was a slim chance you would be able to escape with out being clipped by a sock like a bullet to the arm. The few that are lucky enough to escape would keep the story alive of their fallen brothers.

I was surprised.

The words blind sided me like a line backer to a quarter back. I stood there daises, shock ringing through my head.

Stregths and Weaknesses

My strengths are, I like to contribute to conversations. I work better in a group than I do by myself. I think I am pretty good at comprehending literature. I am pretty good at handing my work in on time. I take my time when I work on long term projects.

My weaknesses are, I do not like speaking in front the class by myself. It would be easier for me to speak in front of the class as a group. I am not the best speller. I get side tracked by my friends very easily.
