Holocaust

  1. 6 million Jews and millions of other races were killed. Hitler was the leader for the "final solution"
  2. It was to eliminate all of the Jews and create an Arian race
  3. They fit 15 people into 2 small rooms. They didn't have a lot of food.
  4. It was where they took the Jews to either work or kill them.
  5. Almost 1 million Jews were killed there.
  6. Heinrich Himmler was the head of all concentration camps. The area of Upper Silesia was known as the "Black Triangle". There were over 35,000 killed at Auschwits III.

  • it started because Germany was blamed for WWI by the Treaty of Versailles
  • victims included Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, African Americans, Muslims, and people with disabilities
  • victims put in concentration camps
  • once killed in a concentration camp your body was either burned or put in a mass grave
  • crematoriums were three levels high and eighteen bodies could fit into each level
  • at time victims believed they were going to take a shower, but the showers were really gas chambers
  • prisoners were marked on left arm
  • Hitler was in command during WWI
  • Dr. Mengle performed experiments on twins and victims during the Holocaust
  • the perfect race consisted of blonde hair blue eyes
  • 5000 Jewish communities were eliminated
  • prisoners in camps received small amounts of food

  • Jews were transported via cattle cars to the concentration camps
  • when the Jews were hiding from the Nazis, the Jews would mix cocaine and dried rabbit blood to hinder the dog's sense of smell
