Show vs. Tell

The room was a mess.

The room, covered with dirty clothes, was like a battle field. There was a slim chance you would be able to escape with out being clipped by a sock like a bullet to the arm. The few that are lucky enough to escape would keep the story alive of their fallen brothers.

I was surprised.

The words blind sided me like a line backer to a quarter back. I stood there daises, shock ringing through my head.

Incidents in life

Age 4: Went to Florida

Age 6: Started playing golf

Age 6: Started 1st grade at St. Roman

Age 9: Took 4th place in the state for PP&K(Punt, Pass, & Kick)

Age 11: Started middle school

Age 12: Had a poem published

Age 14: Graduated from 8th grade

Age 14: Started high school at St. Thomas More

Age 15: Won a tournament on the Junior PGA Tour

Age 15: Took 3rd in the Tournament of Champions

Stregths and Weaknesses

My strengths are, I like to contribute to conversations. I work better in a group than I do by myself. I think I am pretty good at comprehending literature. I am pretty good at handing my work in on time. I take my time when I work on long term projects.

My weaknesses are, I do not like speaking in front the class by myself. It would be easier for me to speak in front of the class as a group. I am not the best speller. I get side tracked by my friends very easily.
